If you give a Narc a cookie,

He’s going to ask why it took you so long.

When you tell him you were cleaning,

He’s going to point out the dirt still on the floor.

When you then go back to sweeping,

He’s going to criticize your technique.

When you apologize and do it his way,

He’s going to point out your ongoing flaws.

When you begin to grovel and feel hopeless inside,

He’s going to feel like he’s in control.

When you fall in line with his manipulation,

He’ll only push you further down the spiral.

When you finally get to your breaking point,

He’s going to drop a mega bomb of untruth.

When you argue with his unreality,

He’s only going to deny it ever happened.

When you point out he’s clearly wrong,

He’s going to attack with your own words, but twisted.

When you explode because you feel insane,

He’s going to shame you for your outburst.

When you begin to sob in utter confusion,

He’s going to reverse course and play the victim.

When you stop crying and begin to believe him,

He’s going to lay the guilt on even thicker.

When you crave to make it right again,

He knows he’s got you cornered.

When he’s tired of playing cat and mouse,

He’ll go ahead and give you a breadcrumb.

When you get a breadcrumb, you immediately think,

He loves it when you bake him cookies…

SO NEVER GIVE A NARC A FUCKING COOKIE!!!
